Is Bynum Done in Los Angeles? For Dwight?

Andrew Bynum #17 Of The Los Angeles Lakers Is Ejected From Play Against The Dallas Mavericks In Game Four Of TheToday, Andrew Bynum apologized for his classless shove to J.J. Barea.

A few hours later, he was suspended without pay for the first five games of next season. But a question remains: Will Andrew Bynum wear a Laker jersey next season?

It is very possible that Bynum put on a Laker jersey for the final time of his career in Game 4 of the Mavs sweep of the Lakers. When Bynum was ejected, he walked straight to the locker room and took his jersey off while he was still on the court (for that he received a $25,000 fine).

Is that a hint of what might go down in the offseason or just some random coincidence?

I might be crazy, but I still think I'm right on this. If the opportunity presents itself, Bynum will be on another team next season. That opportunity is Dwight Howard.

If the Lakers can get Dwight Howard without giving up too much, then why not pull the trigger. Why wouldn't Superman want to come to L.A.? He would be playing with Kobe and immediately be in position to win his first championship.

I don't think Dwight can win in Orlando. And if he thinks that they can get Chris Paul, he is on something. The Magic are in a bad situation with massive contracts of Gilbert Arenas and Hedo Turkoglu and no one is going to want them on their rosters.

If GM Otis Smith does get Chris Paul, he will have to give up a lot talent and the Magic will then be a two-man show without a bench. In the NBA, you can't win with two players and no one else. You can win with two players and some solid role players. Or in the case of the Miami Heat, just three great players and shooters.

(Disclaimer: I am not saying I want Miami to win, but they are the best team left in the playoffs.)

So I'm telling you, Dwight. Come to Los Angeles. The Lakers are so much better than the Magic. If you come here, I can 99% guarantee if you score 46 points in a playoff game you will win.

And for Lakers fans, you guys have to want Dwight over Andrew. Dwight is much faster and more athletic, a little better offensively, and slightly a better defender. He is the 3-time Defensive Player of the Year for crying out loud!!

This is simple. DH12>AB17

Mitch, stop wasting time and get Dwight over here. I'm counting on seeing Superman in purple and gold.

Also, Shannon Brown, if Dwight wants #12 you got to hand it over in a heartbeat.

  1. it is fitting that the two players that got ejected from the last game of the season will be wearing different uniforms next season what a way to end their lakers careers
